Aubergine seeds for the Violetta di Firenze (Violet from Florence) produce an aubergine variety that has particular stunning gorgeous dark lavender fruits, with creamy white tops around tha calyx. When picked early the skin is thin enough to leave unpeeled when cooking.  One of our farmers market customers favourites . A veritable feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds.
