A striking Australian heritage squash, Jarrahdale produces large, flattened fruits with beautiful blue-grey skin and deep orange flesh. Known for its smooth texture and sweet, rich flavour, it is both highly ornamental and excellent for eating.

This variety is also prized for its good storage qualities and dependable yields.

Growing information

  • Sow under cover in late spring or direct sow once frost risk has passed

Jarrahdale is superb for soups, roasting, baking and purées, offering a smooth texture and rich, slightly nutty sweetness.
